Question: What can you recommend for a broken wrist and had surgery with a plate to stabilize.
First few weeks, your wrist should be immobilized in order to let the bone heal and unite. After immobilization, you can start doing some range of motion exercises like wrist flexion and extension, supination and pronation and rotation. Your physical therapist will determine when to do some stretching and strengthening exercises based on your ability to the move and tolerance to the movement.
