Another thing We want to teach you a technique to help you easily stand up. First, you scoot your hips and buttocks toward the edge of the chair. Next, slide both feet backward. Next, lean forward and back repeatedly, until you can use the momentum of your body to stand up. This is a technique I teach my patients who have difficulty standing up.
