Exercises for the knee depend on the time when the surgery was done. Usually, rest is encouraged 2-4 weeks after the surgery and only mobilization exercises are allowed. This is to ensure that you keep the knees mobile to prevent joint stiffness. However, exercises will vary as the healing progresses. These 5 quick stretches may help your knee at some extent but the main target of this routine is hip and back muscles. Meaning, you may have get some benefits from this routine but not significant results can be achieved. Moreover, if you are fresh from surgery, steps 2 and 4 may be not indicated to you as it flexes the knee to its full range of motion, a technique that is quite difficult for newly replaced knee
