Q: Are anterior pelvic tilt and hyperlordosis the same thing?
Anterior Pelvic Tilt, also called Lower Crossed Syndrome, is the postural position when your pelvis tilted forward. In other words your butt sticks out making your lower back arches, causing extra pressure on your lower back and eventually producing pain. On the other hand, hyperlordosis is when the inward curve of the spine in your lower back is exaggerated. This condition is also called swayback or saddleback.
