Q: For someone with scoliosis, is it safe to do hamstring stretches or will it make the scoliosis worst?
A: Yes, you can include the hamstring stretch in your daily routine. This is one of the muscles that becomes tight when you have scoliosis. Stretching the hamstrings, along with the other muscles like your gluteus maximus, quadratus lumborum, latissimus dorsi, etc. is important in helping your body counteract the rotation in your spine. Though you must know which side is the curvature of your scoliosis in order for you to know which side should you focus on during stretches. Aside from that focus on strengthening weak muscles, and exercises to lengthen your spine. All of these can help your condition from worsening.
